Do you shoot weddings?
For three wonderful years, I shot weddings and loved every second of it. However, in the year 2020 I was forced to stop taking on weddings due to graduating from school in May, starting my first nursing job, and buying a house. Due to the unpredictable nature of all these life events, I didn't feel secure in my ability to guarantee I had a certain date open for weddings. Here we are now, and I've found that my passion lies more in senior and couples photography outside the realm of large weddings, however please reach out if you are having an intimate wedding or elopement as I would love to discuss photographing this type of event with you!
Do I need to pay a deposit?
I do require a non-refundable retainer fee to reserve your session date. If you need to cancel or reschedule your shoot, this fee will NOT be refunded or transferred to another date unless an arrangement has been made between us beforehand. The fee is in place to ensure that I don't have last minute cancellations that I can't rebook or other situations like that. I appreciate your understanding.
Before this fee is paid, your shoot date is NOT penciled in on my calendar and if another client is inquiring about that date and pays their retainer, the date will go to them. But no fear! I'll remind you about it before that happens. Just a heads up.
How long does it take for my photos to come back?
Depending on the session, my turnaround time is 2-2.5 weeks. I do send previews within the first week so that you have some fun beauties to look at while you wait.
What kind of gear do you use?
I have two Canon 5D Mark III cameras in my bag as well as a Canon 6D. I shoot primarily on a Sigma 35 mm 1.4 lens.
