Back in February of this year, literally right before the madness of the pandemic began, I shot some stunning engagements for Deonte and Meagan in the Glamis sand dunes. (maybe some day i'll get around to blogging those as well.. but seeing my track record I shouldn't count on it lol!) They are the kind of people you just click with immediately. They are kind and easy to talk to. They were and are my dream client! Well- I've been testing out a new editing style lately and needed to do a styled shoot without the pressure of a paid client, so I posted on my story and Meagan reached out to me. I knew right away they would be perfect for it. annnnd they were.
It also helps that this location is just.... magic. I discovered it about 3 years ago while scouting desert spots. South mountain creates a perfect silhouette for the sun to set behind, leaving the saguaro cactus littered expanse below bathing in a light that is somehow sun drenched but also perfectly shaded. It is pure bliss. Sometimes I worry that I shoot here too much, but in all reality, nobody but me notices. And clients again and again ask me for this spot, and I happily oblige.
